Sustaining Creative Resources

SUSTAINING CREATIVE RESOURCES is a unique opportunity to come together in process-driven conversations to discuss and share ideas/methods/plans about making work in this 2016/2017 landscape.

About the Project

Patrick’s Cabaret recently lost its venue. We are reaching out to connect with the cadre of artists who have performed, presented, rehearsed or attended performances at Patrick's Cabaret over the past years. Together we will develop artist-driven means to learn how artists currently make a creative life, and imagine a future creative ecosystem that sustains art and artists in our evolving cultural and economic climate.

Sustaining Creative Resources is a space for artists to continue to define ourselves and our place in the community, and to come together and advocate for each other as a whole.

SCR is led by Patrick's Cabaret artist and Macalester Theater Department Chair Harry Waters Jr., and is supported by a grant through Macalester's Eductating Sustainability Ambassadors program. Our student researchers for Summer 2016 are Richard Graham and Isaac Gamoran.
