Dylan Fresco is a theater artist and musician who works as a writer, performer, producer, and educator with a diverse array of arts and community partners. Projects take him from performance stages to school classrooms, from community centers to neighborhood sidewalks. In his work, he invites connections between people and communities through story, music, poetry and movement.
Dylan's toured his solo plays "Welcoming The Stranger" and "Domino's Pizza Saved My Life" to festivals and colleges across the country and shares them locally with organizations as cultural competency training tools. As a teaching artist, Dylan has extensive experience in the Minneapolis Public Schools. Each week, he's in classrooms with Upstream Arts, an organization that fosters social and communication skills for youth and adults with disabilities through the arts. Dylan also works with with Arts on Chicago, an arts-based community development initiative in Minneapolis in partnership with Pillsbury House + Theatre.
