Paul Canada Nemeth


Paul "Canada" Nemeth is a poet and storyteller focused on social justice through art. His deeply personal work addresses the social stigmas of sexuality, spiritual violence, and gender norms. Paul was named the 2014 Grand Slam Champion of FY Poetry, the world's first online poetry slam, and the 2014 Grand Slam Champion of Minneapolis' Slam! MN Story Slam. He has worked as an actor/educator for CLIMB Theatre, where he taught a variety of age groups using theater. He is a founder and host of Minneapolis' monthly queer open mic, OUTspoken!, which is entering its third year of production.
